IGL sales volume growth of 12% Q2 Result Announce

New Delhi: As per the unaudited Q2 results announced by the company for the quarter ending September 2019, IGL registered an overall sales volume growth of 12% over the corresponding quarter in the last fiscal, with the average daily sale going up from 5.89 mmscmd to 6.57 mmscmd. Product wise, CNG recorded sales volume growth of 10%, while PNG recorded sales volume growth of 12% in the quarter as compared to corresponding quarter last year. The increase in gas volumes have been driven by embracing of clean fuels across all segments. Accordingly, the total gross sales value during the quarter has moved to Rs 1866 crore as compared to Rs 1564 crore during the second quarter of FY’20, thereby showing a growth of 19%.
The net profit for the quarter ending September 2019 has increased by 103% to Rs 380.72 crore from Rs 187 crore in the corresponding quarter in the last fiscal. This includes gain of Rs 143.12 cr towards tax adjustments as per amended income tax rates. These are standalone results for IGL only and do not include profits accruing from associate companies.
